Waitlists? Not here.

We do things a little differently around here—we don’t utilize paid waitlists or reserve puppies at pregnancy confirmation or birth. We know that can catch people off guard (cue the “wait…what?”), so here’s the why behind it.
Over the years, we’ve been on quite a few waitlists. With the standards we hold, it wasn’t uncommon for a litter to arrive and simply not produce the right puppy. That left us in a tough spot—thousands of dollars tied up in reservations, sometimes for years, with three less-than-ideal options: settle for a “second best,” keep waiting, or request a refund on a nonrefundable deposit and risk the relationship with the breeder. None of that sat well with us. When we really evaluated the process (and our own program) we knew there had to be a better way.
At the end of the day, our families deserve the puppy they’ve been dreaming of—whether that’s a beloved companion, a therapy/service prospect, or a show/breeding hopeful. And our puppies deserve to be someone’s first choice. That belief is what shaped the way we do things today.
We open selections between 3–6 weeks of age, and reservations are placed at the time you choose your new addition. This ensures our families are choosing with clarity and confidence—and that each pup goes home to a family who chose them first.
And the results? Every single family to date has reserved their first-choice puppy, with only one choosing to wait for a future pairing instead. Unconventional? Maybe. But for us, it works—and it aligns with what matters most. We believe in our families and our puppies too much to ever expect either of them to settle.
