Victor Professional
This is a 5 Star food that is affordable and readily available on Chewy, at Tractor Supply and in many local pet stores. Our puppies are all weaned onto this food.
36" crate
Most of our dogs are comfortable in a 36" crate. Our puppies are introduced to the crate early in life and are comfortable sleeping in them over night, dogs are den animals and this makes them feel safe.
Chris Christiansen Shampoo
Our favorite every day shampoo. Dilute it down and it lasts for a very long time, especially for just a dog or two. Smells WONDERFUL and the scents lasts for days!
Detangling Conditioner
A good conditioner is your best friend when you have Poodles and Goldendoodles. Dilute as directed to make the bottle last even longer. On a wet dog, massage into coat, let it sit for five minutes and rinse well.
Grooming Table
This is a must have for multi Poodle/Doodle families. Learning to groom is something we all can do and a table is something that will last years and years.
High Velocity Dryer
I cannot stress how important a high velocity dryer is with our breeds. Drying the dogs reduces mats and quick blow outs between grooms also help separate individual hairs allowing you to go longer between grooms. This is the exact model we use.
Andis Clippers
An affordable pair of grooming clippers that are strong enough for the thick Poodle coats. I have this exact model.
Blade Set--must have
These are the four sizes every Poodle and Doodle owner needs. Remember, the larger the number the short the cut.
Pin Brush
This brush is Step 1 in the grooming process. Yes, it's a process. This will get any twigs, large snags, dirt, etc. out of the fur easily and quickly. Use a brush like this through the coat before any other--it will be less painful for you and your dog.
Slicker Brush
A slicker brush is Step 2 in the grooming process for Poodles and Doodles. This brush is used from skin to tip of the hair and gets small tangles out, loose fur, and really separates strands to prevent matting from the base of the hair shaft. Don't spend the money on $90 brushes, this one is perfect.
Greyhound Comb
Brushing out with a metal comb is Step 3 of grooming your dog. This comb will find any tiny tangle and allow you to brush it out. Use this comb all over, just like the previous two brushes. Be sure to check between legs, "armpit" areas, behind ears, and top of the head. When you're finished, you should be able to easily run a metal comb through your dogs coat with little resistance.
Fenbendazole 10%
Use Code JuniperRidge for a discount! Fenbendazole is one of the two dewormers we use on all of our dogs and puppies here at Juniper Ridge. It is the most reliable treatment for various parasites including giardia. We use this seasonally on our pack with great success!
Toltrazuril 5%
Use code JuniperRidge for a discount! Toltrazuril 5% is a treatment for various parasites and also the most effective choice for coccidia. We use this on puppies, pregnant and lactating females, and dogs of all ages. We deworm our pack seasonally and then as indicated.

This product is what we use on our personal puppies (beginning at 12 weeks), adult dogs and even our pregnant and nursing moms for fleas, ticks and heartworm prevention. This is a monthly chewable tablet and it's very affordable on the link posted above. Note: all oral flea/tick medications come with risks so please research to find what's best for your dogs.
